HEATWAVE® InAs Quantum Dots 1100 nm
HEATWAVE® Indium Arsenide (InAs) Quantum Dots (QDs) are semiconductor nanocrystals with strong absorption in the short-wave infrared (SWIR), ideal for use as active absorber layers in thin film photodetectors and SWIR imagers. By controlling the size of the nanoparticles, their absorption peak can be tuned across the SWIR, addressing applications in distinct absorption bands. Our proprietary synthesis enables fabrication of QDs of the highest quality with first absorption peaks ranging from 900 – 1600 nm. The materials are ready to be formulated into conductive inks or integrated into films via solid-state ligand exchange protocols.
