About the CdSe Quantum Dot Cores range
CdSe Cores are high quality standard quantum dots from Nanoco Technologies.
CdSe Cores are coated with a long chain amine, Hexadecylamine (HDA) and sold as a toluene solution unless otherwise requested. Supplying CdSe Cores with this HDA coating (or “capping agent”) in a solid state gives the product a prolonged shelf life, but can reduce internal quantum efficiency.
Note. CdSe Quantum Dot Cores are air and moisture sensitive and must be kept under anaerobic conditions.
